Kiln Moonshine Bay Books Al Sauicer

Al Saucier will be signing his book, Kiln Moonshine: True Life in Mississipppi, on Saturday, August, 13th from 4:30-7:00.

In Kiln Moonshine, Al Saucier, whose ancestors were among the first European settlers in the area we know as Bay St. Louis, has encapsulated more than three centuries of folklore and the traditions that led to the establishment of what he describes as The Southern Culture. This book has entailed a considerable amount of research and a profound grasp of the meaning and intent of those ideals which have, especially since the War Between the States, been recognized as elements of The Southern Culture. Additionally, he indicates in this scholarly manuscript the manner in which Moonshine Whiskey was introduced, not only in the United States, but internationally
