John Kemp will be at Bay Books on Saturday, November 24th from 11:00-1:00 to sign his beautiful coffee table books Manchac Swamp, Solace of Nature, Vanishing Paradise, Alan Flattmann's French Quarter Impressions, Rolland Golden,  and his latest book A Unique Slant of Light: The Bicentennial History of Art in Louisiana.

John Kemp is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and received his bachelor's degree from Loyola University in New Orleans, then earned his master's degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. John is a former staff writer for the New Orleans Times-Picayune, he has contributed to several publications, including Southern Accents, Fodor's, Time Out Guides, Louisiana Life, Artnews, and Art & Antiques.
