 Well-known Coast photographer, Alex North, will be at Bay Books signing his book and calendar on Saturday, January 9th from 5:00-7:00 The book is a collection of images that convey North's joy and passion through the lens of his camera. It is, he says, a celebration of the splendor found throughout the Mississippi Gulf Coast. A native of the Gulf Coast, North is an avid outdoorsman, gardener and photographer. "As a photographer," North says, "my main subject matter is our God-given natural surroundings and the wildlife which call it home. I try to capture things you don't see, be it a stunning sunrise, Osprey fishing, or a bloom opening. My goal is to capture it as it happens and share it with you through photography."
